Red Gold was using a different PIM solution (Salsify) to manage their product data
but found the process to be too manual with no direct connection to their core syndication
system. This led to inaccuracies in their data and a significant amount of time wasted for their
teams. They sought a better solution.

Solution

Having already been a partner for 15 years, Red Gold turned to 1WorldSync for a more advanced and

In 2017, Bendix CVS sought a solution to modernize its e-commerce portal and showcase the
unique features of each of its products. The internal team began a global e-commerce refresh
project which included the North American group’s photography of its portfolio.

one week each quarter at Bendix’s primary distribution center in Huntington, IN. With the same
project manager since 2017 and a rotating lineup of world-class photographers, the team
captures an average of 150 products per shoot.

The e-commerce initiative – representing 50 countries over three global regions – delivered a
harmonized e-commerce strategy solution incorporating 14 languages and three unique
storefronts, including the Bendix site (b2bendix.com). The effort landed the Bendix team and
their colleagues recognition at the global level. In 2023, Knorr-Bremse – Bendix’s Munich,
Germany-based parent company – named the effort winner of the “Leading” category from a
field of 139 submissions. The internal team and individual award celebrates achievements that
embody the company’s brand core and corporate values.

“In addition to helping support our robust intellectual property protection program, one of the
unanticipated added benefits from these shoots is that our plant quality inspectors use the
images as part of their regular audits,” said Mike Grandstaff, eCommerce technical project lead
at Bendix CVS. “The inspectors use the product photography to help support visual quality
control and ensure our customers get exactly what they’ve ordered.”

The images positively impact the customer experience in more ways than one. “With so many similar product configurations, the photos help illustrate what makes each part unique,” said Grandstaff. “Sometimes, it can be challenging for our customers to locate the right service kit without
using a picture of a kit's contents. The image resolution from the online spin viewer is
exceptional.”

Solution

RxSugar began leveraging 1WorldSync’s Item Management solution in 2019 to bring its products to more consumers confidently and effectively. In 2020, RxSugar added Data Loading & Maintenance (DLM) to recognize additional efficiencies. Together, these two 1WorldSync tools allow RxSugar to expand seamlessly to a growing retailer network with content that accurately reflects products and drives conversions.

Challenge

Parts Town was seeking a way to accurately share product information to customers for immediate commercial food service, residential appliance and HVAC part replacement. The company was interested in digitizing its presence and expanding its online catalog through imagery.

Solution

Parts Town partnered with 1WorldSync in 2012 to capture 360-degree spin imagery that showcases product details and specs. In their 10 years of partnership, 1WorldSync has led multiple major image capture projects for Parts Town as well as armed the Parts Town team with 360-degree spin photography equipment and training for continued image capture.
